New bus stop on route No. 24, some bus stops on route No. 16 to change names
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that on October 3 a new bus stop, „Sporta Street”, will be opened on route No.24 in Skanstes Street, and from October 15 some bus stops on route No. 16 will change names.
On October 3 a new bus stop, „Sporta Street”, will be opened on route No.24 in Skanstes Street (in both directions). It should be noted that this part of the city is developing rapidly both as a residential area and a business centre, which increases demand for public transport services in this neighbourhood. The new bus stop will significantly improve the possibility for residents to visit institutions located in Skanstes Street.
As of October 15 two stops on bus route No. 16 will be renamed: „Ringroad” (Apvedceļš) will change name to „Amatnieki” (in both directions), and „Children hospital” to „Children hospital „Gaiļezers”” (in both directions).
